Terms and Conditions
Introductory provisions
These terms and conditions govern the reservation, registration and visit to the museum operated by ÚJV Řež, a. s., with its registered office at Hlavní 130, Řež, 250 68 Husinec (the "Operator"). The museum is located inside a guarded nuclear research site, so stricter rules apply for entry than at a typical exhibition.
By reserving a date and submitting your registration, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. The Operator may update these terms; the version published at the time of your reservation always applies.
Reservation and registration for the tour
Entry to the museum is free, but it requires reserving a date and registering all visitors in advance. Registration is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the tour; capacity for each date is limited.
- Register each visitor separately, including children.
- Enter your details exactly as they appear on your ID card or passport.
- The tour is suitable for visitors from [TO BE COMPLETED age limit]; younger visitors only when accompanied by an adult.
- Groups and schools should arrange a date in advance by email at jadernemuzeum@ujv.cz.
After submitting your registration, you will receive confirmation by email. Entry to the site cannot be guaranteed without a valid confirmation.
Entry to the guarded site
The museum lies inside a guarded nuclear site. The gatehouse at the entrance checks your name and registration details against a proof of identity, so bring a valid ID card or passport matching your registration. Without a match between the document and the registration, the visitor will not be admitted.
- Arrive at least [TO BE COMPLETED number] minutes before the tour starts.
- Neither the Operator nor the site administrator will offer free re-entry as compensation for a late arrival.
- Entry may be refused to anyone who does not meet the site administrator's security conditions.
Cancellation and rescheduling
If you cannot make it, cancel or reschedule your reservation as soon as possible, ideally no later than [TO BE COMPLETED deadline] before the date. This frees up the spot for other visitors. You can cancel using the link in the confirmation email or by replying to it.
The Operator reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a date for operational or security reasons. In that case, you will be informed at the email address or phone number you provided and offered an alternative date.
Rules of movement on the site and safety
For the entire duration of the tour, follow the instructions of the guide and site staff. Movement is only permitted within designated areas and as part of the group with the guide.
- Do not enter areas outside the tour route.
- Photography is permitted only where the guide expressly allows it.
- It is forbidden to bring [TO BE COMPLETED list of prohibited items, e.g. weapons, drones, hazardous substances] onto the site.
- Safety and evacuation instructions always take priority over the course of the tour.
A visitor who repeatedly breaks these rules or endangers safety may be removed from the tour without compensation.
Liability and limitations
Visitors enter the site at their own risk and are liable for any damage they cause by breaking these rules. Accompanying adults are responsible for children.
The Operator is not liable for damage arising from failure to follow the guide's instructions, nor for personal belongings left outside designated areas. The scope of liability is governed by the relevant laws of the Czech Republic.
Final provisions
These terms and conditions are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Matters not expressly regulated here are governed by the Civil Code, Act No. 89/2012 Coll., as amended.
