Visitor Guidelines

Before you arrive

Entry is free, but only with prior registration. Capacity for each date is limited, so register no later than 24 hours before the tour starts. Entry to the site cannot be guaranteed without a completed registration.

• Choose one of the listed Sunday dates and a time.
• Register each visitor separately, including children.
• Enter your details exactly as they appear on your ID card or passport. The gatehouse checks them against your document at the entrance.
• After you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Have it ready when you arrive; on your phone is fine.

What to bring

The most important thing is a valid proof of identity. Without it, the gatehouse will not let you onto the site, even if your registration is in order.

• A valid ID card, or a passport for foreign visitors. The document must match the details from your registration.
• Your registration confirmation, printed or on your phone.
• Comfortable shoes. [TO BE COMPLETED: whether the tour also crosses outdoor or unpaved areas.]

Arrival and entry to the site

When you arrive, head to reception. Come with some time to spare so you can get through the gatehouse calmly before the tour starts.

• Show your proof of identity at the gatehouse. Staff will check your name and details against your registration. Without a match between the document and the registration, entry will not be permitted.
• After the check, a guide will meet you at reception and take you through the exhibition.
• If you are running late and might miss the start, please call ahead on [TO BE COMPLETED: contact phone number]. A late arrival may mean it is no longer possible to join the group.

During the tour

The tour runs at set times and is led by a guide. Throughout the tour you move as a group, along a defined route. The tour lasts approximately [TO BE COMPLETED: length in minutes].

The guide will take you through the exhibition and answer your questions. Please do not move around the site on your own outside the tour route. [TO BE COMPLETED: whether there is a toilet in the exhibition and where, and whether a break is possible on site.]

Please observe the following

The museum is part of a guarded site where the administrator's security rules apply. Follow the instructions of the guide and site staff at all times; they always take priority over the course of the tour.

• Stay with the group and do not enter areas outside the route.
• Take photos only where the guide expressly allows it. [TO BE COMPLETED: general photography rule and where it is prohibited.]
• Do not enter the site under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
• Do not bring [TO BE COMPLETED: list of prohibited items, for example weapons, drones, hazardous substances].
• If instructed to evacuate, or given any other safety instruction, follow the guide's instructions immediately.
